Runner-up in the category of Urban Wildlife in the annual competition sponsored by Nature TTL, we were especially taken with this surreal image of a spider by Simone Baumeister captured from a pedestrian bridge’s railing that passes over the main intersection of Ibbenbüren in the Münsterland region using an analogue lens to diffuse the traffic lights and passing cars at night and produce a bokeh effect.
