Via
Web Curios, we are directed to the third annual anthology of an experimental webzine described as a “journal of literature made to exist on the on the internet” called
The HTML Review. A selection of works radiating outwards as spokes from the issue are collected that incorporate both an essay or fable with an element of the interactive. We too especially enjoyed the “
Game of Hope,” which combines John Horton Conway’s
cellular automata with
Pandora’s Box, and the tangential
“Measure a Machine’s Heart” whose passion either ramps up or burns out according to a certain protocol.
